COACHING CAREER: Returns for his sixth consecutive season as the hitting coach in Staten Island... has led the Yankees to the second-best batting average in the NYPL in each of the last two seasons... guided the 2006 Staten Island offense to a league-best .267 team batting average and 365 runs scored en route to the club's second consecutive NY-Penn League Championship... also fulfilled coaching duties with Double-A Trenton (2005), Single-A Tampa (2004), Single-A Battle Creek (2003), Single-A Greensboro (2002) and the Gulf Coast Yankees (1999-2001)... before joining the Yankees organization, coached at Vanderbilt University and the University of Illinois... PLAYING CAREER: Played baseball at Old Dominion University, helping his team advance to the NCAA Regionals in 1990... graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from ODU in that year as well... Coach Streilein has been teaching hitting and pitching to baseball and
softball players on the shore for the past 13years. Players he has coached have
reached all levels from All County, All Shore, All State to All American and the
Professional level. Coach Richʼs daughter Kate was a collegiate All American softball
hitter and pitcher and his son Brian was a standout pitcher establishing many records at
Villanova University and is now a professional baseball pitcher in the Houston Astro
organization. Coach Rich spent 10 years with the Brick Memorial Mustangs High school
softball program and is currently the head coach of the RKE Jaxx Gold 18U travel
softball team.Former owner of the StrikeZone training centers in Belmar and Ocean

Matt Toole is a former Major League Draft choice of the San Diego Padres Baseball Club. Matt attended Santa Clara University (CA), where he was a four your Varsity starter and post season award winner as a shortstop. Matt participated in the NCAA Division 1 Baseball Championship Tournament as a Junior. Member of the All-Northern California All-Star Baseball team while attending Robert Louis Stevenson School in Pebble Beach, CA. Recently, Toole has be a coach at the Little League level, and his Manasquan-Brielle team won a District Title in 2008. Matt has been a coach at every level in baseball and has been busy teaching individual batting lessons now for almost a decade.
